Located in Hillsboro, Children’s Cancer Therapy Development Institute is dedicating time and resources to research and develop cancer-fighting medications for children. R&H partnered with the nonprofit organization to construct a new high-tech office and laboratory space. The new facility is home to office space, a research and testing lab, employee amenities and more.

A key part of the project was the behind-the-scenes work to upgrade and add to the HVAC system, as the laboratory portion of the facility required a dedicated HVAC system to control temperature in sensitive spaces that hold biological samples, testing agents and pharmaceuticals. The upgrades required structural reinforcement to the roof.
