Congratulations to Housing Works, @pinnacle.architecture and the entire Spencer Court project team who celebrated the successful opening of Phase 1 of the affordable housing development in Redmond. Residents have now moved into Buildings 1, 2, and 3, with Buildings 4 and 5 scheduled for turnover by the end of the year. With a total of 60 units, Spencer Court is part of an effort to expand affordable housing in the Central Oregon region. Cheers! 👏

R&H celebrated Pride Month with a sweet treat! Our client Sparrow Bakery is an LGBTQ-owned business and has bakeries in Portland and Bend, making them a perfect partner for our Pride Month festivities.
This week, R&H team members received delicious Pride-themed cookies accompanied by Pride Month history cards. All R&H jobsites received a special “You Are Welcome Here” sticker and learning resources to share with craftsworkers onsite. We’re proud to support LGBTQ-owned businesses and create a safe, inclusive environment for all. Happy Pride!

With a conference theme of “Beyond Shelter: Confronting Our Housing Crisis, Together”, our team will lead a tour through Cleveland Commons, a Permanent Supportive Housing community R&H is currently building in Bend. R&H Vice President Gary North and Pinnacle Architecture Principal Briana Manfrass will co-lead a conference session on balancing trauma-informed design, durability and target value design in Permanent Supportive Housing projects. We hope to see some of you at the conference, whether at one of these sessions or at the opening reception – cheers! @pinnacle.architecture @aiaoregon

Guests visiting the Caldera Springs will soon have a new space to enjoy! Our team is underway on a full renovation of Caldera’s Lake House, originally built by R&H in 2007. The Lake House, which is home to a restaurant and resort amenities, will be refreshed and expanded to create a more contemporary lodge dining experience. The project includes a kitchen expansion, new indoor/outdoor bars and private dining areas, and an expansion of the outdoor patio. Check out some progress photos on site below!
