PORTLAND, OREGON
Located in the Pearl District, this location is Blu Dot’s first in Oregon. R&H partnered with the owners to create a one-of-a-kind storefront that was contemporary with an artistic flair. This tenant improvement features a unique white oak batten ribbon wall the curves throughout the entire space. The ribbon wall creates a quiet backdrop that helps set the tone for the retailer.

Progress
As a nearly 100-year-old structure, the building had accumulated irregularities and movement over the years that required mitigation and leveling to accommodate the interior build out. Previously part of the same legal lot as its neighboring building, utilities had to be re-worked to create a fully autonomous building. This required close coordination with the City of Portland Water Bureau, PBOT, and Fire Department.
