R&H teamed with Colas Construction to construct Stephens Creek Crossing for Home Forward. The affordable multifamily housing complex features 122 residential units, community gardens, an Opportunity Center for holding job training and cooking classes, and an early childhood center that serves as home to Head Start programs.

This refreshed new community replaced the dated Hillsdale Terrace affordable housing community that demolished prior to construction. The two community buildings feature heavy timber wood construction.

Stephens Creek Crossing was a public project with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage and MWESB goals. The R&H/Colas team achieved 42% MWESB participation on this project, of which 19% were new firms to R&H. Stormwater from the entire six-acre site was collected and infiltrated on site through a series of underground galleries.
