Bend Brewing
Bend, Oregon
With Bend Brewing’s recent purchase of three 30-barrel fermentation tanks and newly-leased 2,800 s.f. space in east Bend on High Desert Lane, they were in need of installation and upgrades to their new production facility. The main use for this warehouse location is to supply Bend Brewing’s downtown Bend pub & restaurant with much-needed beer.
Installation of equipment includes a 15-barrel brewing system, grain silo, 30-barrel hot liquor tank, and two 30-barrel brite tanks allowing the team to produce an additional 2,000 barrels of beer annually, tripling their previous production capabilities.
R&H also performed renovations of Bend Brewing Company’s brewpub, which sits along the Deschutes River, adjacent to Drake Park. The patio renovation project allows Bend Brewing to maximize their outside space and river views with a new 950 s.f. wood deck with trellis, concrete planters, and a steel and cable railing. Crews also widened the existing concrete entry walk, added 4,900 s.f. of asphalt parking, and created a 3,500 s.f. landscaped area with a concrete retaining wall bench and accessible asphalt path from Brooks Street.
