Melvin Mark
PORTLAND, OREGON
Melvin Mark’s office space in downtown Portland got a modern and updated refresh for their new model of doing business. The scope of work included a complete gut and revised layout of their office including: new conference rooms, reception area, private offices and open work environment to transform their office environment.
Before installing new finishes such as a high end reception area and conference room, every office included a complex custom pivot door finish frame system, motorized window shades with recessed soffit pockets to hide the shade, high end open kitchen / break area and a 4-panel Quantum door installed in a collaborative work area.
The office space, located in the Columbia Square building, is located on the 13th floor with occupied tenants above and below. R&H developed a plan to mitigated the noise disruption to the adjacent neighbors above and below by phasing the project and scheduling intrusive activities for off-hours in the morning and evenings. Any coring penetration were done to minimize disruption to the neighboring tenants without any disruption.
