Built in 1923, the Martha Washington originally housed a hotel for professionals visiting Portland. The building has since served a variety of uses and has sat vacant for the last several years. R&H recently completed a historic renovation of the building, including a complete interior renovation and preservation of the building’s historic facade. The completed building features 108 studio, and one-bedroom apartment units, with a mix of operational subsidies to assist those in need. Central City Concern provides property management and social services for the building’s residents.
