What began as a small remodel project turned into a long-term partnership between R&H Construction Co., and Willamette View, a retirement community in Southeast Portland. Willamette View originally hired R&H to remodel a lobby in one of the buildings on its 27-acre, 410 residence campus. Since then, R&H has performed numerous projects for the retirement community including the remodel of two auditoriums, library, bowling alley, interior corridors, and the reconfiguration and upgrade of 19 apartments throughout the community. R&H also built a highly anticipated Wellness Center, which provides exercise and therapy facilities to further advance the community's ongoing commitment to its residents' health and well being. Located adjacent to an existing indoor pool, the 5,623 s.f. center boasts an expanded exercise equipment area, massage and therapy rooms, and a space for fitness classes.
