R&H converted the site of the former Marco Manufacturing Building at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Sumner Street into the highly anticipated Vanport Square Development. The development includes ten for-sale retail condominiums and the a new, 18,000 s.f. building with a mix of office and retail space. The two buildings are unified by a courtyard area marked with a water feature, seating areas and a large clock tower. The building was originally aiming for a LEED for Core & Shell (CS) Silver rating but has since bypassed that goal and received LEED-CS Gold Certification.
